When Amy Dickenson was born in 1863 in Mudgee, New South Wales, her father, Henry, was 28, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 26. She married Edward Joseph Healey in 1882 in Armidale, New South Wales. They had five children in 13 years. She died in 1914 in Newcastle, New South Wales, at the age of 68, and was buried in Newcastle, New South Wales.
