Accessibility represents an important step toward independence for individuals with disabilities.

What is Accessibility

Accessibility is the concept of whether a product or service can be used by everyone—how they use such products and services. Accessibility guidelines and/or laws exist to aid people with disabilities, but designers should try to accommodate all potential users in many contexts of use anyway. To do so has firm benefits—notably better designs for all. A win win situation.

"Equity seeks to ensure fair treatment, equality of opportunity, and fairness in access to information and resources for all. We believe this is only possible in an environment built on respect and dignity. Inclusion builds a culture of belonging by actively inviting the contribution and participation of all people."
